Meteorologist Danielle Dozier’s last broadcast on WPXI-TV is expected to be at 12 p.m. Wednesday.

Danielle Dozier, weekend evening meteorologist at WPXI since April 2018, will exit the station this week. Dozier’s last broadcast will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday.

Dozier says it was her choice to leave Channel 11 but she wasn’t yet ready to say at what TV station or in which TV market she’ll land.

“Yes, I’m leaving Pittsburgh. I announced it Sunday night on Channel 11 News at 11 p.m.,” she said via email Monday. “I have enjoyed getting to know Pittsburgh and cheering on all the great sports teams!”

A Chesapeake, Va., native, Dozier joined WPXI following stints in Indianapolis, Oklahoma City and Abilene, Texas.
