A new exhibition at You Are Here in Jeannette explores the question, “Why are we here and what are we doing?”
The group show, “Blurred Reality,” will open with a free reception at 6 p.m. June 22 at the gallery at 406 Clay Ave.
Curated by Greensburg artist and educator Dan Overdorff, the show features work by Victoria Jennings, Ron Korcynski, Kevin Kutz, Michael McDevitt, Mark Miller and Dan Senneway. It will run through Aug. 4.
“‘Blurred Reality’ is an exhibition of works that explore various worlds, dimensions and counter-culture thoughts. Artists involved depict their own truth and authenticity through various media including but not limited to illustration, sculpture and painting,” according to a statement from the gallery.
In conjunction with the exhibition, the gallery will host a lecture by author and paranormal researcher Stan Gordon at 6 p.m. July 12. Reservations are requested and donations will be accepted.
Regular gallery hours are noon-6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon-3 p.m. Sundays.
