Latrobe Art Center is offering online art tutorials and other resources during the coronavirus-related shutdown. Here, students participate in a February paint pour session at the center.

Running out of ideas for your at-home art projects?

Latrobe Art Center has a series of free online tutorials, featuring member artists including Pamela Cooper, Peg Panasiti and Eileen Stoner, as well as some from center director Lauren Buches.

Other online resources include a peek into Doreen Currie’s studio and a time-lapse look at Nora Thompson’s work.

The tutorials are available on the center’s YouTube channel, Facebook page and Twitter.

The center also is hosting virtual open studio time from 1-3 p.m. Thursdays via the videoconferencing app/website Zoom.

Participants can share ideas or create art together during the sessions.

Anyone interested in submitting a tutorial can email video, photo slideshow or other materials to info@latrobeartcenter.org.
