Latrobe Art Center’s summer camps for kids will focus on water as a unifying theme.
The camps, which begin in June, are for children ages 3-13 of all artistic levels and will allow young participants to explore water-based art techniques and create pieces depicting ocean scenes. Each camp runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and includes a visit to Latrobe’s Rogers-McFeely Memorial Swimming Pool.
“Aquatic Adventures” camp offerings include:
• “Lil’ Explorers,” for ages 3-5, June 11-13 — Children will learn about sea life while working with dough, paint and mixed media;
• “Under the Sea,” ages 6 and 7, June 25-27 — Participants will create sea creatures and underwater scenes;
