Murrysville artist Barbara Jewell earned a “Best of Show” award for her watercolor painting, “Standing Ovation,” at the East Suburban Artists League’s recent exhibition at the newly renovated Latrobe Art Center.
Jewell’s work was recognized among 80 pieces submitted by 42 ESAL artists, which will remain on display at the art center through April 30.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the center, 819 Ligonier Street in Latrobe. It is free and open to the public.
