We’ve reached the weekend. Here are some ways to spend it.

Undie Run

Cupid’s Undie Run Pittsburgh is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Hundreds of people are expected to participate in a 1-mile run on the North Shore while wearing underwear, costumes or tutus.

McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon on North Shore Drive will host a pre-party followed by an after run celebration.

The event to raise awareness and fund research for the Children’s Tumor Foundation to help find a cure for the genetic disorder neurofibromatosis, which can cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, and can lead to blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, disfigurement, learning disabilities, disabling pain and cancer.

The disorder affects one in every 3,000 births across all populations equally, and worldwide.

Pittsburgh is one of 39 American cities hosting a run.

Cost is $50.

Start your engines

The Pittsburgh International Auto Show is Friday through Monday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown.

There will be 400 to 500 cars, trucks and other vehicles showcasing the latest safety features, technology and design.

The show was canceled last year because of the pandemic. This year, there will be 22 auto makers represented from Chevrolet to Toyota to Volkswagen. Luxury brands include Maserati, Lincoln, Lexus, Acura and Mercedes-Benz.

There will be a display from the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix with cars and high-end classic vehicles.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military and $6 for children 6-16. Children under 6 are free.

A free shuttle runs from Gold Lot 1 at Heinz Field on the North Shore.

Tattoo Expo

The 5th annual Pittsburgh Bleed Black and Gold Tattoo Expo is Friday through Sunday at the Sheraton Station Square on the South Side. Hosted by Greg Piper’s Baller, Inc., there will be more than 200 tattoo artists, including stars of Paramount Network’s “Ink Master,” clothing and art vendors.

Live entertainment will feature sideshow act Captain and Maybelle, burlesque performances by Cervena Fox, and the Miss Pittsburgh Pin Up Contest.

Pittsburgh native Piper founded the expo in 2017. He has been a tattoo artist for nearly 30 years.

Tickets are $25. Children 12 and under are free.

Go green

“Ireland” makes its U.S. premiere in the Rangos Giant Cinema at the Carnegie Science Center on the North Shore on Friday. The 3D documentary about the Emerald Isle is narrated by Liam Neeson.

The 43-minute film explores Ireland’s cultural heritage and natural landmarks. It was directed by two-time Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Greg MacGillivray.

Tickets are $7 in addition to general admission.

MercyMe

Grammy-nominated and multiple-award-winning Christian band MercyMe is bringing its Inhale (Exhale) Tour to PPG Paints Arena, Uptown at 7 p.m. Friday.

Pittsburgh is one of 36 stops in cities across the U.S.

Opening performer is Micah Tyler.

MercyMe released its 10th studio project. Single “Say I Won’t” has risen to No. 4 on the Billboard National Christian Audience, Mediabase Christian Audience and Billboard AC Indicator.

There is a motion picture based on the life of front man Bart Millard, who wrote the song “I Can Only Imagine” after the loss of his father.

Since its debut in 2001, the band has sold more than 9 million CD, single and DVD sales. “I Can Only Imagine” surpassed 2 million digital downloads in 2014.

Tickets start at $25.
