It’s the final weekend of June. Here are some ways to spend it.
Music festival
The WYEP Music Festival is Saturday at Schenley Plaza in Oakland. Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation, the parent organization of 91.3 WYEP, will host a day of live free music from a variety of genres.
The open-air concert is from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Performers include participants from the WYEP Reimagination Project, which provides music education for area high school teens.
This year’s headliner is Washington, D.C., band Jukebox the Ghost. Also taking the stage will be Seratones, a Shreveport, La., band, and Pittsburgh’s Bill Deasy. Ashley Marina, who appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” has more than 100 million views across digital platforms.

Homebrew Conference
The 44th annual Homebrew Conference 2022 is Friday and Saturday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown. It is sponsored by the Homebrewers Association and will showcase collaborations of beers from Western Pennsylvania breweries.
Organizers expect about 1,500 home brewers and suppliers.
The Pittsburgh Brewers Guild partnered with the Masters Brewers Association in Pittsburgh and Three Rivers Association of Serious Homebrewers to create ales, stouts, Belgian and porters. There will be speakers and guests can also learn about beer making.

Night markets
The Downtown Night Markets return Saturday to Market Square and in Squirrel Hill.
In Market Square, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. there will be free music by Mr. Small’s Acoustic Café, hosted by Jeremy Caywood with performances by Mirabelle Skipworth & the Brink Of, Distelfink, and Radios on the Moon.
Presented by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, the market will feature vendors showcasing crafts, fashion, art, jewelry and photography. There will be food.
In Squirrel Hill along Murray Avenue between Forbes Avenue and Beacon Street from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be vendors from I Made It! Market selling handmade wares. There will be local live bands and food trucks as well as activities for children.
Both markets are free.

Open Streets
Open Streets Pittsburgh is a free community event that opens miles of city streets for people to walk, run, bike and explore spaces that would otherwise be used by motor vehicles. On Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., people will be able to be on streets from Downtown to the Strip District and into Lawrenceville.
The event is organized by Bike Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization that strives to make it safe and accessible for people to bike and walk.

Bach, Beethoven and Brunch
Bach, Beethoven and Brunch, a free concert series with WQED-FM, begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on the Rose Garden Lawn in Mellon Park, Shadyside. Shadyside Brass will be performing classical melodies. The quintet formed in 2013 and plays music from the Renaissance to the 21st century, show tunes to jazz standards.
Guests are invited to bring picnic baskets.
