NEW YORK — Chris Martin caused a stir at the Boston Coldplay concert with a quip about a couple caught in a cozy moment on the jumbotron, video shows.

The clip seemingly features Astronomer CEO Andy Byron with his arms wrapped around a woman who resembles his company’s chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, at the Wednesday night show in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The moment they appeared on the jumbotron in Gillette Stadium, though, Cabot quickly hid her face while Byron ducked down and out of frame, sparking speculation about their relationship.

“Oh, look at these two,” Martin can be heard saying.

“All right, come on, you’re OK,” the singer continued. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

The video has since taken social media by storm, particularly TikTok, where users continued on Thursday to actively dissect the wild moment.

The online investigation, with efforts that include identifying the couple and their respective gigs, has also since devolved into memes. Even NYC Sanitation got in on the gag.

” Cameras are EVERYWHERE! Don’t get caught doing something you maybe shouldn’t be doing,” it said on X alongside a still from the video. “Thinking about doing something naughty, like dumping trash in the city? We’ve go video cameras all over. We WILL catch you and you will pay the price!”

Newly headquartered in New York City, Byron’s company, Astronomer, is a private data infrastructure startup that achieved “unicorn” status in 2022 with a $1 billion or more valuation. He’s married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, and it’s unclear whether she was in attendance at the concert.

Cabot, who has not commented on the matter, started working for Astronomer in November, according to her LinkedIn page. Byron has also so far abstained from addressing the viral fervor.
