The split verdict Wednesday against Sean “Diddy” Combs has sparked controversy — and the reactions on social media have been just as swift.

Some of the fastest responses came from celebrities who knew the music mogul personally.

Rapper 50 Cent, who has had an over 20-year feud with Diddy, took to Instagram with an AI-generated image of himself captioned: “Diddy beat the Rio, that boy a bad man.”

Aubrey O’Day, a former member of disbanded musical group Danity Kane, posted a short video on her Instagram story minutes after the verdict became public.

Combs was convicted of a prostitution-related offense but acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Her response to the jury’s decision was captioned with just a single word: “Wow.”

Piers Morgan, a journalist and media personality who publicly spoke out against Diddy, said before the trial verdict was reached that Diddy was “going down.”

Diddy’s going down. Just a question now of how many convictions he gets, and how long a sentence…

Post-trial, Morgan had the same shocked reaction as O’Day.

Megyn Kelly, host of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” said Diddy “got away with serious felonies” and added that he was “guilty as sin.”

Jemele Hill, a sports journalist at The Atlantic and former ESPN employee, expressed her low expectations for responses to Diddy’s trial on social media platforms.

These Diddy takes are about to be cringe-worthy.

So far, only one celebrity has spoken out in support of Diddy — rapper Boosie.

On video, Boosie said that he was “glad Diddy free” and that he was happy for Diddy’s children.
