Country singer Cody Johnson has canceled the remaining dates on this year’s Leather Deluxe tour, including a sold-out Pittsburgh show.

Johnson cited a burst ear drum for the cancellation in a message posted Tuesday to social media.

The “‘Til You Can’t” and “Travelin’ Soldier” singer was scheduled to perform an Oct. 18 show at PPG Paints Arena, with Clint Black and Walker Montgomery opening.

“The severity of the rupture means I must undergo immediate surgery. The healing process will take many weeks, and it is not possible for me to sing during this time,” Johnson wrote. “Without the surgery, my downtime could be months. I pray for full healing so I can get well and return to doing what I love.

Johnson, who postponed some shows in September because of illness, said ticket holders should receive an email from their ticket providers with further details.
