Garth Brooks thanked Pittsburgh and Steeler Nation Sunday morning shortly after his record-breaking show at Heinz Field.
On social media the country superstar posted a video from the show fully embracing the city and its sports teams: He’s sporting a Pirates jersey with No. 7 Roethlisberger and waving a terrible towel.
He wrote, “#SteelerNation you showed me tonight that you ARE #PittsburghStrong FOREVER! Thank YOU for the LOVE and the UNITY!! love, g #GARTHinPITTSBURGH”

The show was expected to top 75,000 for a Heinz Field record. Brooks and his band played a roughly two-hour set that started with “All Day Long” and ending with “Standing Outside the Fire.”
Fans responded with similar enthusiasm flooding social media with selfies from the show, concerts photo and clips and generally excited posts.
