Singer, songwriter and Grammy winner Hank Williams Jr. will be in town this summer. Williams announced his 2023 tour Tuesday. It will feature guest Old Crow Medicine Show, an Americana string band.

The shows kick off May 12 at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and include a stop June 10 at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown.

According to Live Nation, Williams has sold 70 million albums — he released his first in 1964. His most recent in his nearly five-decades career was released in 2022. A blend of rock and country music, “Rich White Honky Blues” debuted at No. 1 on the Current Country, Americana/Folk and Blues Albums charts. The 12-song set was recorded live.

Williams is known for songs such as “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight,” “There’s a Tear in My Beer” and “Family Tradition.”

He has been named ACM Entertainer of the Year, CMA Entertainer of the Year and BMI Icon. Williams is in the National Songwriters Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of Fame.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com.
