Donnie Iris and The Cruisers are looking forward to another milestone.

The perennial favorite Pittsburgh party band will celebrate 40 years together during a Feb. 1 concert at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov 1 at 724-836-8000, ticketmaster.com or thepalacetheatre.org.

Another iconic Pittsburgh band, Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers, will open the show, starting at 7:40 p.m.

Donnie Iris and The Cruisers released five albums, beginning in 1980 with “Back On The Streets,” followed by “King Cool” (1981), “The High And The Mighty” (1982), “Fortune 410” (1983) and “No Muss No Fuss” (1984).

Those records include hits and fan favorites like “Ah! Leah!”, “I Can’t Hear You,” “That’s The Way Love Ought To Be,” “Love Is Like A Rock,” “Tough World,” and “Do You Compute.”

Over the years, the band headlined shows around the country with artists like Journey, Loverboy, Bryan Adams, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Eddie Money, Ted Nugent, Joan Jett, Daryl Hall & John Oates and Michael Stanley, according to a release.

In February 2018, the band played three sold-out shows in The Palace celebrating the front man’s 75th birthday. At that time, Iris called it “the best 75th birthday present I could ask for.”
