Korn lead singer Jonathan Davis performs during the 2016 “Return of the Dreads Tour” in Burgettstown.

The tour featuring double headliners Korn and Faith No More has been cancelled.

The tour, which also featured Helmet and ‘68, was supposed to visit S&T Bank Music Park in Burgettstown on Sept. 5.

“It is with heavy hearts that we came to this decision out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our fans, crew, and fellow artists,” Korn said in a statement posted to Instagram.

Faith No More hadn’t played in Pittsburgh since 1992 when they visited twice, opening for Guns N’ Roses and Metallica in July at Three Rivers Stadium and headlining Metropol in September (coincidentally with Helmet as the opener).
