Morgan Wallen reschedules 2 shows at PNC Park in Pittsburgh
Morgan Wallen’s two concerts this summer at PNC Park in Pittsburgh have been postponed from June to August.
The country music star went on social media on May 9 and announced that six weeks worth of shows would need to be postponed because of a vocal injury he suffered over the weekend.
Wallen had been scheduled to play June 14 and 15 at PNC Park, along with Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman and Ernest. The shows have been rescheduled to Aug. 30 and 31.
Wallen had previously canceled a show at the last minute on April 23 at Ole Miss’ football stadium, leaving thousands of fans waiting for him. After taking 10 days of vocal rest, Wallen played three shows over the weekend in Florida.
“By the third one, I felt terrible,” he said in the video.
He met after with doctors, who told him he had reinjured his vocal cords.

The doctors recommended six weeks of vocal rest.
“And they also said if I don’t listen and keep singing, then I’ll permanently damage my voice,” said Wallen, whose “One Thing at a Time” album was released earlier this year.
Other shows affected by postponements include: Hershey (May 18), East Rutherford, N.J. (May 19-20), Austin, Texas (May 24), Houston (May 26), Atlanta (June 1-2), Panama City, Fla. (June 3), Virginia Beach (June 8-9) and Philadelphia (June 17).
Wallen sold out the Pavilion at Star Lake last summer.
“This is just the choice I had to make,” he said. “I hate it, but I love you guys. I appreciate all the support you always give me.”
