New Kids on the Block bringing Magic Summer tour to Star Lake
New Kids on the Block are diving back into the past for their Magic Summer tour, which includes a stop in the Pittsburgh area next year.
The biggest boy band of the 1980s, New Kids on the Block are reimagining their 1990 blockbuster Magic Summer tour, with a show on June 19, 2024, at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown. They’ll be joined by special guests Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
“The true ‘magic’ of this tour is in the music, the moments and the memories that we get to create — and recreate — with our amazing fans each night,” Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement. “Feeling all the nostalgic feels of the original Magic Summer, with the bond that we’ve shared throughout the years, will make for a most magical time indeed.”
NKOTB — Wahlberg, Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre and Danny Wood — are releasing “The Block Revisited,” a 15th anniversary edition of their 2008 reunion album, on Friday.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com, with Block Nation and Citi presales at 10 a.m. Wednesday and Live Nation and Paula Abdul fan club presales at noon Thursday.
