Pat McAfee praises 'phenomenal' Jelly Roll, Post Malone show in Pittsburgh
Pat McAfee had a blast in the ’Burgh last night.
The Plum native and wildly popular ESPN talk show host introduced Jelly Roll Thursday during the Big Ass Stadium Tour at PNC Park.
McAfee then stuck around to watch Post Malone perform.
“It was an honor of a lifetime,” McAfee said about introducing Jelly Roll. “For Jelly Roll, I will do anything.”

He explained that Jelly Roll showed up and performed during McAfee’s live show last month in Pittsburgh. So, he returned the favor on Thursday.
“It was phenomenal,” McAfee said of Jelly Roll’s Thursday performance. “Jelly Roll plays for an hour straight … banger, banger, banger, banger, banger, banger.”
Then, McAfee watched Post Malone for the first time.
“Guy’s a rockstar,” he said. “From the moment he enters, he is inside of those songs that he is singing. He is so entertaining.”
McAfee joked that he took a bunch of photos inside the ballpark, because he’s not sure if Pirates ownership will ever let him back inside. He has been critical of Pirates owner Bob Nutting and his management of the team.
“That show was absolutely awesome,” he said. “So very lucky to be a part of that.”
