Adam Pascal and Olivia Valli are the lead actors in the North American tour of “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” coming to Pittsburgh Feb. 1-6 as part of the PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh Series.

Broadway regular and Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal will tread the boards of the Benedum Center in “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” coming Feb. 1-6 as part of the PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh Series.

The national touring cast also features rising Broadway star Olivia Valli, playing the role of Vivian Ward opposite Pascal’s Edward Lewis.

“This is truly a must-see musical for anyone who enjoyed the movie or is just looking for a super-fun night out,” said Marc Fleming, vice president of marketing, communications and Broadway programming for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. “It’s beautifully staged and costumed.”

The musical is based on the 1990 romantic comedy movie starring actors Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, in which a wealthy businessman falls for an uncultured escort whom he picks up on a lark during a weekend business trip.

It also features “Oh! Pretty Woman,” the 1964 Grammy Award-nominated hit by singer Roy Orbison.

Pascal, along with touring company castmates Jessica Crouch, Matthew Stocke and Nico DeJesus, were members of the “Pretty Woman” Broadway company.

Valli, the granddaughter of Four Seasons front man Frankie Valli, has appeared in the off-Broadway revival of “Jersey Boys” and the U.S. tour of “Wicked.”
