The Red Hot Chili Peppers are extending their Unlimited Love tour into 2024, with a show scheduled for the Pittsburgh region.

The veteran funk rockers, who released two albums in 2022, will play July 2 at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown. Kid Cudi and IRONTOM will open the Pittsburgh show, as the tour features a rotating cast of openers including Ice Cube, Ken Carson, Otoboke Beaver, Seun Kuti & Egypt80 and Wand.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, which formed in 1982, shot to fame in 1991 with their “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” album, which featured “Give It Away” and “Under the Bridge.” Their “Californication” album in 1999 rocketed them even higher, as it sold more than 16 million copies.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com, with a Citi presale on Tuesday, an artist presale on Wednesday and Live Nation/Ticketmaster presales on Thursday.
