The concert season at the Pavilion at Star Lake got a lot heavier with a pair of announcements this week.

Shock rockers Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson will co-headline a show on Aug. 29 at the Burgettstown outdoor venue in a tour announced Thursday. They’ll be joined by Mongolian folk rockers The Hu and industrial rockers Orgy.

Zombie, known for songs like “Dragula” and “More Human Than Human” from his White Zombie days, will release a new album, “The Great Satan,” on Feb. 27. Zombie’s last Pittsburgh show came on Sept. 3, 2024, on a co-headlining tour with Alice Cooper at Star Lake.

Manson, who played a sold-out September show at the Roxian Theatre as part of his “One Assassination Under God Tour,” scored hits with songs like “The Beautiful People” and his cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).”

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 at ticketmaster.com. A Citi cardmember presale starts at 10 a.m. Jan. 20, with artist presales at 10 a.m. Jan. 21 and Ticketmaster, Star Lake and Live Nation presales at 10 a.m. Jan. 22.

The tour kicks off on Aug. 20 in West Palm Beach, Fla., and runs through Sept. 20 in Concord, Calif.
