Tim McGraw's summer 'Here on Earth Tour' has Burgettstown date
If you’re reading this, you’ll be happy to know that country music superstar Tim McGraw will play the S&T Bank Music Park in Burgettstown on July 31.
And not a moment too soon for fans.
The date is part of McGraw’s Here on Earth Tour, which opens July 10 in Syracuse, N.Y. The 30-date tour will feature country acts Midland and Ingrid Andress.
“Houston, We Got a Problem” singer Luke Combs will join McGraw for stadium shows in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Produced by Live Nation, the cross-country tour will be part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket program. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 24 for select cities at megaticket.com.
McGraw is no stranger to Pittsburgh-area audiences, having performed previously at the Burgettstown venue and at Heinz Field along with Kenny Chesney.
A three-time Grammy Award-winner, McGraw has released 15 studio albums, 10 of which have reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. He’s also had 25 No. 1 singles and numerous awards from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, American Music Awards and Peoples Choice Awards.
McGraw has a new album scheduled for release later this year, which he has described as “a tapestry of life.”
He also has appeared as an actor on television and in movies such as “The Blind Side,” “Tomorrowland” and “The Shack.”
