A classic rock band on a farewell tour, a country singer on the mend and a rising Swedish pop star are on tap in March as the concert schedule begins to fill up.

Here’s a look at the top concerts coming to the Pittsburgh region in March:

Top concerts

March 2: Journey at PPG Paints Arena

Journey’s “Final Frontier” tour is a farewell of sorts, as this will be keyboardist Jonathan Cain’s last tour with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers.

Although hope bubbled that famed vocalist Steve Perry might be rejoining the band, Perry himself shut down those rumors of a return to sing songs like “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

“While I’m always grateful for the love people still have for Journey, the rumors about me rejoining the band are simply not true, and I want to gently put them to rest,” Perry said, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. “I completely understand why people would hope for that. The music we created together means a great deal to me too. But I’m continuing to explore new creative work and really enjoy working on new music that reflects where I am today.”

March 6: Cody Johnson, Kip Moore, Walker Montgomery at PPG Paints Arena

Country singer Cody Johnson is back on the road after having to postpone his tour last fall after rupturing his eardrum.

The “‘Til You Can’t” and “Travelin’ Soldier” singer originally had been scheduled to perform Oct. 18, 2025, at PPG Paints Arena with Clint Black as support.

Johnson is at work on a new album, with a potential release this year.

“There are a few songs that the people in the room are like, ‘I would’ve never thought you would’ve picked that one,’” he told On the Record, as reported by American Songwriter. “And then you cut it and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, it was you.”

March 22: Zara Larsson, Amelia Moore at Stage AE

Swedish singer Zara Larsson brings her “Midnight Sun” tour for her Pittsburgh debut.

Larsson scored a hit with “Lush Life” back in 2017, and she still invites a fan onstage at each show to do the dance from the video.

Her latest album, “Midnight Sun,” received a 2026 Grammy nomination for best dance pop recording, and Larsson considers it her best album.

“For sure. I think it’s better because it’s more me,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “When I started out, I knew that I loved singing and loved performing. I loved to entertain. But as I grow older, I realize there’s a difference between being a performer and being an artist.”

As one half of Eric B. & Rakim, the highly influential hip-hop duo, Rakim is known for his lyrical wordplay, with his latest album, “The Re-Up,” released last year.

Christian singer-songwriter Josiah Queen, who turned 23 last month, brings his “Mt. Zion” tour to Pittsburgh, with the tour named after his 2025 sophomore album.
