Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top will celebrate their 50th year with a massive North American tour, including a Sept. 11 date at KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 12 at livenation.com.

The “ZZ Five-Oh Tour” kicks off Aug. 16. Cheap Trick will join the tour on select dates.

The band still features its original lineup of Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. Formed in Texas in 1969, ZZ Top lays claim to 15 studio albums and 30 million records sold.

“That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” still plays hits like “La Grange,” “Legs,” “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Tush” to audiences the world over.

“It’s been five decades, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good at all this! The beards, Frank excepted, are perhaps a bit longer, yet nothing else has changed,” Gibbons said in a Live Nation release. “We’re keeping it that way.”
