Celebrating 50 years of music-making, ZZ Top will play KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown on Sept. 11. From left, Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top perform at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on Aug. 28, 2016, in Boston.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top and Pittsburgh rock station WDVE are celebrating their 50th anniversaries by offering two pavilion seats for $50 (plus applicable fees) for the band’s Sept. 11 concert at KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown.

The special tickets are available in limited quantities, while supplies last, at livenation.com.

Since forming in 1969, “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has produced 15 studio albums and sold 30 million records featuring hits like “La Grange,” “Legs,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Tush” and more.

The trio comprising hirsute guitarists Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill and the ironically clean-shaven drummer Frank Beard continues to tour worldwide.

“It’s been five decades, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good at all this,” Gibbons said in a tour press release. “The beards, Frank excepted, are perhaps a bit longer, yet nothing else has changed. We’re keeping it that way.”

ZZ Top and WDVE have had a connection since the band’s World Wide Texas Tour played a date at Three Rivers Stadium in 1976.
