South Side music venue Club Cafe is opening Club Cafe Coffee House next week.

After reopening the longtime South Side music venue on July 31, the new owners of Club Cafe have been going full speed ahead with the space. Starting with soft opening hours next Wednesday, that will also include a daytime coffee house.

The official opening will be Oct. 1. Club Cafe Coffee House will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will serve Ghost Coffee Collab beans. Weekend brunch events are in the works for the future.

“We’re thrilled to expand Club Cafe beyond live music and into a community-focused coffee space,” said Club Cafe owners Danielle Mashuda and Maddy Lafferty in a release. “We see the Coffee House as a natural extension of our mission — to support artists and create meaningful connections in our neighborhood.”

The Coffee House is intended as a welcoming space for local artists, neighbors and professionals.

During soft opening events on Sept. 24, 25, 26 and 29, a menu of specialty coffees and teas will be available, with food offerings including local baked goods and breakfast sandwiches from Pittsburgh Sandwich Society. Soft opening hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and customers are encouraged to provide feedback in preparation for the full opening.
