Fast-casual restaurant chain Honeygrow is adding a second location in the Pittsburgh region.

The Philadelphia-based eatery, which specializes in made-to-order stir-fry, salads and honeybars, plans to open a location in Monroeville this fall at a newly constructed shopping center at 3975 William Penn Highway, where it will join Mission BBQ, Aldi and Jersey Mike’s Subs.

The company plans to employ more than 40 employees in Monroeville. This will be the 18th location for the chain in Pennsylvania.

Honeygrow also has a location on Highland Avenue in East Liberty.

Honeygrow CEO Justin Rosenberg said “adding a second location in the Pittsburgh area allows us to strengthen our brand awareness as we look to continue to add restaurants between western and eastern Pennsylvania.”

He said the company is “actively engaged” in finding more spots throughout Pennsylvania.
