Macy's recalls thousands of infant pajamas over potential elastic hazard
Macy’s announced they are recalling About 16,300 of their infant pajamas due to a potential hazard.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the department store chain is recalling its Holiday Lane Infant Footed Pajamas because the elastic on the pajamas’ ankles can be too tight and restrict blood circulation.
The company reported it had gotten four complaints of the elastic being too tight, resulting in chafing, imprinting or restricting blood circulation.
There are five different styles of the infant footed pajamas being recalled. They were sold in infant sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-9 months and the words “Holiday Lane” are printed on the pajamas’ neck label.
Anyone who bought these pajamas should immediately stop using them and contact Macy’s for instructions on how to get a refund. Do no return the recalled pajamas to Macy’s stores.
Consumers should instead fill out an online recall form. After they fill out the form, they will be sent a pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope to return the pajamas free of charge. Macy’s will then send a $26.50 refund check. The company is contacting any and all known purchasers directly.
Anyone with questions can contact Macy’s at 833-408-0501 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or email at footedpajamasrealtimeresults.net.
