Some of the nation’s top energy companies joined President Donald Trump and leading state officials Tuesday at the Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit, held at Carnegie Mellon University.

U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick said the summit could pave the way for tens of thousands of new jobs in the Commonwealth across the energy and artificial intelligence industries.

Meanwhile, just outside in the streets of Oakland, peaceful protests escalated into clashes with law enforcement.
