Yinzer Bars are back for the holidays, with some very Pittsburgh themes.

Those sweet chocolate bars Canonsburg’s Sarris Candies produces year-round come wrapped in Yinzer themes for Christmas, as Yinzer Bars make a holiday return.

A collection of milk chocolate candy bars, Yinzer Bars come from the somewhat twisted minds of the creators of Yinzer Greeting Cards.

Pittsburgh comedian Jim Krenn, radio personality Larry Richert, cartoonist Rob Rogers and public relations expert and fourth partner Dick Roberts of Giant Eagle/Market District are the brains behind the bars.

With “the most wonderful time of the year” upon us, Christmas and holiday-themed Yinzer Bars, featuring a Rudolph the Reindeer Stiller, a black and gold-trimmed Christmas tree and a nod to Santa’s holiday parking, are now being sold, Roberts says.

The bars are available at Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle, Market District, GetGo, Kuhn’s Markets and Hallmark stores, and the Heinz History Center and Visit Pittsburgh gift shops and sell for $2.99, according to Roberts.

As with previous Yinzer Bars, proceeds will benefit Spenser’s Voice Fund, a nonprofit established to help curb the drug epidemic in young adults.
