The leaves are beginning to brighten, and a slight chill is creeping into the air, but it’s not too late to catch the season’s final Pints in the Park gathering.

This year’s last Pints in the Park gathering will take place from 5-9 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Hampton Township Community Center parking lot (same location as the two previous events).

“Pints in the Park is one of the township’s newer parks and recreation programs. Thus far this year, each time we have held the event this summer it has been well attended,” said Christopher Lochner, current Hampton Township municipal manager.

Guests who did not attend one of the first two events held in July and August can expect a fun-filled evening with lots to do.

“Besides the local craft brewery that is present we have food trucks, a local winery and live entertainment as part of the evening’s festivities,” said Lochner.

The first two events were a huge success according to council members.

“I’d suggest that people bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs. We do have tables out, but they fill up quickly once people start getting dinner from the food trucks,” said council president Carolyn Johnson.

It’s a family affair.

“With a local craft brewery, local winery, food trucks and live entertainment, we have found that Pints in the Park is something our residents now really come to look forward to,” said Lochner.
