Allagash is coming to the Allegheny. We are more than excited to announce that by the end of March, all of our friends in Pittsburgh and Western PA will be able to enjoy Allagash beers. And a special bonus: if you’re heading to @hopculturemag’s Juicy Brews Valentine’s Day Craft Beer Fest today, we’ll be there pouring some special beers. ? @hbmertz

Choices that will be available here are:

Allagash White, a wheat beer, brewed with oats, malted wheat, and unmalted raw wheat for a hazy, “white” appearance and spiced with coriander and Curaçao orange peel.

Allagash Tripel, a golden ale which carries notes of passion fruit and honey in the aroma that is brewed with a 2-row barley blend.

Allagash Curieux, a golden ale aged in bourbon barrels for seven weeks and featuring notes of coconut, vanilla, and a hint of bourbon.

“Pittsburgh has a great and growing beer community,” said Rob Tod, founder of Allagash Brewing Co., a winner of the 2019 James Beard Award for Outstanding Wine, Spirits or Beer Professional. “We’re thrilled to be here. We always look forward to sharing our beer with new people. There are so many amazing beers available in Pittsburgh — we’re excited to be added to the mix.”
