Bob Evans Farms Inc. is recalling packaged pork sausage that may be contaminated with thin blue rubber, according to the USDA.
The sausage was produced in December 2020 and is packaged in one-pound containers labeled with lot code 0352.
Packages have a use-by date of Jan. 31 and are being sold across the state, along with stores in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and others.
The Ohio-based Bob Evans company is recalling about 4,200 pounds of the pork product after receiving consumer complaints.

Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a health care provider.
Shoppers who have purchased the item should either throw it away or return it to the store where it was purchased.
It’s not the first time Bob Evans has run into potential problems with plastic.
The company in 2018 recalled nearly 47,000 pounds of pork sausage link products for “extraneous materials including clear hard plastic.”
