Members of the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen will participate in a variety show that will raise funds for coronavirus relief efforts.

The publication’s first live show is set for 7 p.m. Friday via YouTube and will feature cooking challenges, cute pets and more. The event will raise money to support the response to covid-19 by World Central Kitchen, which is providing fresh meals to those in need, putting restaurants back to work, and feeding frontline healthcare workers, according to a story on the magazine’s site.

Donations can be made on the YouTube stream via a donate button.

The Bon Appétit Test Kitchen is where recipes are worked on and videos are shot for the publication’s popular YouTube channel. Test kitchen members include contributing food editor Claire Saffitz, who stars in the “Gourmet Makes” series, and test kitchen video host Brad Leone, who hosts “It’s Alive with Brad Leone,” among others.

A stream for the variety show can be found below.

The magazine’s YouTube channel boasts 5.8 million subscribers.
