Burgh’ers Brewing co-owners Flore Moletz (chef) and Neil Glausier (brewmaster) with a fascimile of a donation to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Free Care Fund, raised through sales of Farkleberry Tart.

In 2019, Burgh’ers Brewing raised contributions totaling $2,642 for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Free Care Fund.

Burgh’ers’ donation came through $2 per sale of each Farkleberry Tart blackberry sour ale. The fund provides care to every child in the region, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Last year’s donation was raised through sales of an ale only on tap part time. In an effort to boost this year’s donation, Burgh’ers will now tap Farkleberry Tart year-round at both the Lawrenceville and Zelienople locations, continuing to donate $2 from each sale to the Free Care Fund.
