Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Maryland is rolling out its first nationwide release: Over the Moon milk stout.

The beer, a popular pour at the brewery’s U.S. outpost, will be available nationwide for a limited time starting in November.

The milk stout, described having a subtle sweetness and chocolaty flavor — and very approachable, according to the company — comes in at 5.3% ABV. Its name is inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first man landing on the moon. The artwork on the can recalls the advertisements of the 1930s and 1950s depicting zoo animals interacting with pints of Guinness.

“Guinness Over The Moon Milk Stout was born from an idea to make a beer that could celebrate our stout brewing expertise, speak to a wide spectrum of beer drinkers, and also convey the creativity and versatility of our brewing team here in Baltimore,” said Hollie Stephenson, head brewer at Guinness Open Gate Brewery, said in a release.

Guinness opened the Maryland brewery last year, marking the iconic Irish company’s first brewery in the United States in over 60 years.

Guinness is owned by Diageo beverage conglomerate.
