LeVia Trattoria in Lawrenceville is closing at the end of the month.

“Our lease expires in November, we will not be renewing and have made the difficult decision to close LeVia Trattoria effective the end of September,” chef Anthony Castine wrote in letter posted on Facebook. “As of now, we are planning our last day of service to be Saturday, September 28th.

“We’ll be here for another month, so please come in and dine with us.”

The Italian restaurant on Butler Street opened in 2021, occupying the space that once housed Cure, a restaurant run by chef Justin Severino.

Cure closed in 2019.
