Pop-Tarts drop new flavored ice cream sandwiches, pints
Pop-Tarts are a household name — but have you heard of the Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich?
This summer, Kellanova announced its Pop-Tarts were being made into ice cream sandwiches and ice cream pints to help people cool off amid the heat.
Kellanova, the parent company of popular brands like Pringles, Rice Krispies Treats, Cheez-It and Pop-Tarts, announced the expansion in May, USA Today reported.
The new treats come in three different flavors:
- Frosted Strawberry
- Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon
- Frosted Chocolate Fudge

Despite being in an abnormal frozen format, Kellanova said they still will have Pop-Tarts classic flavor.
All of the Pop-Tarts ice cream products are available for purchase at Walmart.
In addition, Pop-Tarts released a limited-edition branded pool floatie, which is available at Target. Originally, $19.89, the floatie is currently on sale for $13.92.
“These new launches are a fun and flavorful celebration of our brands, and they bring the same joy and familiarity consumers love, in imaginative new forms,” said Kellanova senior director David Lee of the collaboration with Golden West Food Group. “It’s always exciting to see how our brand DNA is brought to life through bold, unexpected innovation.”
