Popeyes is announcing the return of its popular chicken sandwich by resuming its online “feud” with Chick-fil-A.

The sandwich, which sold out in two weeks over the summer, will be available again — permanently — beginning Sunday, Nov. 3.

Chick-fil-A outlets are closed on Sundays, a fact Popeyes notes with a humorous video jab.

Popeyes promised via Twitter that the sandwich soon would return “for good.”

The chain appears to be keeping its promise.

Traffic jams could occur, some fear.

Apparently Popeyes is aware of the need to “staff up” to meet the expected demand.

Hopefully, all of the cravings will be satisfied soon.

Maybe don’t make any international travel plans.

Popeyes has locations in Wilkins, South Strabane, North Versailles and Pittsburgh’s South Side.
