Daylight savings time may rob us of an hour this weekend, but it brings those longer days we’ve missed all winter.

Before you tackle spring cleaning or other seasonal chores, enjoy a colorful, garden-inspired cocktail or two from Fine Wine and Good Spirits.

Sparkling Grapefruit & Rose

2 ounces Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose Vodka

2 ounces pink grapefruit juice

1 ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

Riondo Prosecco

2 grapefruit quarter slices

Combine first three ingredients in a wine glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with grapefruit quarter slices.

Sage Lime Smash

2 ounces Jose Cuervo Tradicional Tequila Reposado

1 teaspoon agave syrup

½ lime, quartered

3-4 sage leaves

1 lime wedge

Muddle first four ingredients in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with lime wedge.

The Purple Lady

1 ½ ounces Broker’s London Dry Gin

1 ounce fresh lemon juice

½ ounce lavender syrup

½ ounce Rothman and Winter Crème de Violette Liqueur

½ tablespoon egg white

1 lavender sprig

Blackberries

Combine first five ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lavender sprig and skewered blackberries.
