Time is running out to dine at Station in Bloomfield.

After nine years, the restaurant is closing.

The reason? Chef Curtis Gamble is moving to Tennessee later this year.

“We’ve been through a lot in this space,” Gamble said in a statement. “The irony of this is that we’re doing great, all things considered. Our fantastic team and strong collaborative partnerships have been the fuel behind a lot of our recent successes. I’m going to miss that part of Station and of Pittsburgh.”

Gamble said he has no current plans to open a restaurant in Tennessee.

Before he leaves, he said he plans to continue the same level of service he’s provided for nearly a decade. Gamble is cautioning patrons to schedule their farewell dinners on weeknights because the weekends will be packed. He’s keeping reservations tight “because we never want to waver on quality — especially right now,” he said.

If you can’t get a reservation, Station will also continue to offer its pre-order pick-up meals until the closing date, Feb. 16.

Gamble said he also plans to host a few pop ups featuring some of Station’s most popular dishes and cocktails throughout the spring.

Station is located at 4744 Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield. The final day for full-service in-person dining will be Feb. 16. There will be a closing party on Feb. 17.
