He’s a mean one, that Mr. Grinch, but McDonald’s doesn’t seem to think so.

In a Dr. Seuss-esque poem, the international fast food chain made an announcement just in time for the holidays:

“The Grinch is taking over with a plan so keen;

McDonald’s USA will serve the most mischievous fries you’ve ever seen.

Dill Pickle McShaker Fries arrive with tangy zest;

Order The Grinch Meal Dec. 2 – put your taste buds to the test.”

For a limited time while supplies last, The Grinch Meal is available at participating restaurants nationwide, made in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises.

And, for the first time, Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries will be available, according to the announcement.

The fries are made by sprinkling tangy, dill pickle seasoning into a “McShaker bag” and shaking it to enhance McDonald’s normal fries.

The Grinch Meal comes in a Grinch-themed container and includes:

  • Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets
  • Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries
  • Medium Drink

Along with The Grinch Meal, patrons will receive a pair of socks scribbled with messages from the Grinch himself and McDonald’s designs. There are four color options: yellow, red, blue and green.

“THiS iS MY MEAL AND i DiDN’T PARTNER WiTH McDONALD’S OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF MY HEART,” said the Grinch in a handwritten note on crumpled paper from Mt. Crumpit. “i SAW AN OPPORTUNiTY TO BRiNG MiSCHiEF TO YOUR BELOVED “RESTAURANT” WiTH MY DELiCiOUS CHAOS FOR THE HOLiDAYS AND i TOOK iT … YOU’RE WELCOME FOR MAKiNG YOUR HOLiDAYS iNFiNiTELY MORE iNTERESTiNG.”

The Grinch Meal was first introduced in Canada in 2024, the Detroit Free Press reported. Due to the meal’s success, it was a “no-brainer” to bring it to the U.S., Alyssa Buetikofer, chief marketing and customer experience officer of McDonald’s USA, said in a statement.
