A stack of Project Happy Hole-idayz Doughnut Ale, brewed with Shweetz doughnut holes. Sheetz’s new holiday beer is a collaboration with Wicked Weed Brewing out of North Carolina.

Beer brewed with doughnut holes? Why not?

Today’s TribLive Taste Test subject was the brand-new Project Happy Hole-idayz, a collaboration between Sheetz and North Carolina brewery Wicked Weed. Each batch is supposedly brewed using a pound of the convenience store chain’s Shweetz doughnut holes, with notes of vanilla frosting and graham crackers.

We’re suckers for a good Christmas seasonal beer, so this is right up our alley. How did it taste? Check out the video and find out!
