TribLive Taste Test: Trying hot sauce from the Fuego Box

Make it hot! That was our goal this week, trying five sauces from the Fuego Box, plus Beez Bounty Hot Honey.

It’s about to be full-on barbecue season. The weather will make it hot outside, and this week we’re making it hot inside courtesy of five hot sauces from the Fuego Box.

We sampled sauces from the All Star Box, but there are a wide variety of boxes and an even wider variety of sauces, which can also be ordered individually.

We tried Jersey Barnfire Indian Summer, Riza Ghost Pepper Verde, Friendly Fire Guava & Habanero, Hoff Southern Stinger and Secret Aardvark Habanero.

And just for kicks, we tried Beez Bounty Hot Honey, which someone left on the table leading into the newsroom, which we charitably refer to as “The Trough.” We’ll leave that to your imagination.
