Some new homes on Grandview Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Mt. Washington neighborhood will have a grand view.

Grandview Heights, a development of luxury townhouses, is currently under construction.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a brand-new home on Grandview Avenue,” said Lorrie Crummie, sales manager for Laurel Communities, which owns the land and is the developer in partnership with builder Infinity Custom Homes. “This is the most sought-after location in Pittsburgh. Mt. Washington represents Pittsburgh.”

Crummie said the last similar new construction on Mt. Washington was in the early 2000s.

Architects Rothschild Doyno Collaborative designed the townhouses. Owners can customize some of the interior features such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures.

The townhome community is located on Grandview Avenue at Augusta Street and runs to the parcel past Shaler Street.

Owners of the new townhomes at Grandview Heights being built on Mt. Washington will have the opportunity to customize some of the interior design such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures.

It is being built in three phases.

The first phase includes nine townhomes, which will have closings in early 2026 and be completed by summer 2026, Crummie said.

The pre-sold units are four levels with a two-car garage. The second level has an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen and a great room.

The third level can be designed for two or three bedrooms and the top level has an outdoor deck and can also be configured to have a bedroom and an additional room or one large room.

It can accommodate three or four bedrooms and two and a half to four and a half bathrooms.

The townhomes in phase one are priced starting at $1.3 million.

Phase two, which will have 12 townhomes, will be ready for closings at the end of 2026 and completed in spring 2027, Crummie said and phase three will follow with six units on Shaler and Augusta streets. Pricing has not been determined for the final two phases.

There is an elevator option for all three phases.
