Go fly a kite!

The Carnegie Science Center on Pittsburgh’s North Side is hosting Kites for Kids on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. .

The day will include hands-on demonstrations featuring games, crafts, and other kite-flying themed activities.

The museum is partnering with KidsVoice, an Allegheny County child advocacy organization.

KidsVoice advocates for 3,000 children each year in courtrooms, classrooms, and everywhere a child’s voice should be heard – including beyond the traditional child welfare and juvenile court arenas, according to a news release. KidsVoice advocates for clients to address legal issues across the entire range of physical, medical, educational, housing, brain- and language-development needs that arise for children from birth to age 21.
