Today is National French Fry Day, and restaurants nationwide are marking the occasion by offering free fries and other deals.
Deals available at chains with restaurants in Western Pennsylvania include:
• Burger King: Several offers, including large fries for $1, are available on the BK app. App specials are listed at bk.com.
• McDonald’s: Customers can get a free medium fry exclusively by using the McDonald’s app. There are two ways to access the deal on the app: use the “Mobile Order and Pay” function or scan the available QR code at the drive-thru, front counter or kiosk.

• Hardee’s: Newsletter subscribers received an email with a coupon for free large fries with a Monday purchase of a Thickburger. Sign up for future emails at hardees.com.
