1 dead, 3 injured in shooting in Pittsburgh's California-Kirkbride neighborhood
A Pittsburgh man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting Sunday night in the city’s California-Kirkbride neighborhood.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said shots were fired around 9:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Brighton Place.
A man, identified by the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office as Stephone Drayton, 40, was shot in the chest and died at a hospital.
Another man was taken to a hospital in serious condition after being shot in a knee, while a third man was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in a foot, Public Safety said. A fourth man was grazed with a bullet in one of his arms and went to a hospital in a private vehicle after refusing treatment at the scene, police said.
Detectives are investigating.
