1 dead after exchange of gunfire in McKees Rocks

A man is dead Monday evening after an exchange of gunfire in McKees Rocks, according to Allegheny County Police.

The shooting in the area of 3rd and Boquet streets was reported to Allegheny County 911 around 5:15 p.m. There, first responders found a 19-year-old who had been shot multiple times.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner office identified the man as Ronald Fuller of McKees Rocks.

Fuller was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Based on evidence at the scene, detectives determined a suspect approached and shot at Fuller, county police said. And he returned fire.

The suspect fled the scene. No information on the suspect was provided, and police did not say if the suspect was shot.
