Allegheny County Police detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man early Sunday morning in Braddock.

Emergency crews were called to the 800 block of Braddock Avenue just before 1:50 a.m. for a report of a shooting. They arrived to find 38-year-old Alon Carrington of Braddock, who’d been shot. He was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital where he later died.

The Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner identified him as Alon Carrington, 38, of North Braddock.

Police are investigating.
