1 killed in McKeesport crash

One person was killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle crash in McKeesport Saturday night, Allegheny County Police said.

The victim, who was not identified, was a passenger in a Honda Accord in the accident that occurred at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 28th and Rockwood streets, according to police. The driver of the Honda was hospitalized in stable condition.

One adult and one child in a Dodge Caravan were reported in stable condition in an area hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the accident, police said. There were two adults and three children in the Dodge caravan, police said.

Allegheny County detectives initiated an investigation and are awaiting laboratory results before referring the case to the District Attorney’s office for a decision on whether charges would be filed, police said.
